SexiQL is an open-source macOS database client, developed by SexiQL. This site is a static marketing page, and no prior registration is required to access it.
About the app
All Workspace, tabs, and history live in a local file on your Mac and never leaves your computer. Database passwords live in a local encrypted vault. There is no registration requirement, no cloud sync and no telemetry. The app doesn't send crash reports, usage data or version checks.
About database connections
SexiQL lets you connect to any Postgres, MySQL, SQLite or Redis databases you own credentials for. All query traffic goes to connected databases servers. We never collect or see your credentials, queries, history, schema, or results.
About AI features
SexiQL has a number of built-in AI features, powered by local AI models running on-device via Ollama on localhost. All prompts, schema context, and completions remain solely on your computer.
SexiQL does not currently support hosted models or API-based inference. If that changes, we will update this page first, and let users know about the change if a future update introduces hosted models or API-based inference.
About this site
The site is hosted on Vercel. Vercel Web Analytics records anonymous, aggregated page views — URL, referrer, country, and device. It does not use marketing cookies or identify you across sites.
There is no ad network and no extra tracker. We do not show a cookie banner because we do not run that kind of tracking.
GitHub
SexiQL's source code and issues are hosted on GitHub. Anyone can view the code and contribute to the project. All pull requests are reviewed by the maintainers before being merged. Note that GitHub's privacy policy applies when you open an issue or use the repository.
About what we never collect
SexiQL never collects credentials, query text, results, schema, prompts, or device identifiers from the app. SexiQL has no user accounts.
About changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update this page. The date at the top of the page is the source of truth.
